Sutton at 2 months

Holy smokes!! Everyone told me that the second one always goes by faster and I didn't believe them. Well, they were right. I feel like it was just yesterday that we were walking out of the hospital with this little guy and he turned two months yesterday. It just doesn't seem possible!

Here are some fun facts about our Sutton McCrae:

• We weighed him the day before he turned 2 months and he was 12 lbs. 11 oz. He has gained almost 5 lbs his first two months!
• I think he is around 23-24" long
• He is now in all 3-6 months and 3 months clothes. His Ganna made me put all his 0-3 months stuff up over the weekend when he was busting out of a sleeper I had on him.
• We are just waiting to go through the last pack of opened size 1 diapers then we will go to 2s.
• He most definitely has red hair. His eyebrows are even red. His eye lashes were blonde but over the last two weeks they have turned darker. They are still blonde on the tips and getting super long.
• His eyes are very light already, much lighter blue than Shaw's ever were.
• Has very bad seasonal allergies. We have found that out over the last two weeks. The poor baby has stayed sick and is finally not congested and feeling good. Then, I noticed a runny nose this afternoon :(
• His eyes and face have cleared up and stayed clear over the last few weeks.
• He was sleeping 6-7 hours until he got sick. Now we are back to 3-5 hours. He goes to bed at 8 and usually wakes up between 1-2 and then 4-5. He is easy to get back to sleep after he eats.
• He is still nursing every 3 hours during the day and on the same schedule.
• He started staying with his Aunt Carly 3 days a week this past week and is doing great.
• He still hates tummy time and rolls over after only about 30 seconds and gets VERY mad when made to stay. He is very strong and can already put weight on his forearms for about 30-45 seconds at a time.
• He loves to smile and talk.
• Still loves his play mat and will smile at himself in the mirror even though I know he can't see himself very well.
• His tummy issues have subsided a lot. Me eliminating most dairy must be working. He spits up very little but I still believe he has some silent reflux going on because he will just be plain uncomfortable sometimes.
• He usually only cries when he overly tired or hungry
• His brother has started scaring him with how loud he is. Shaw will scream (while playing and/or a tantrum) and Sutton will get the biggest pouty lip and then start to cry.
• Still loves to be swaddled and loves to cuddle.
• Still not a huge fan of the paci. We have tried about 4 different kinds and the soothie is his favorite.
• We moved him to his crib this past weekend in hopes he would return to his good sleeping habits. Here's to hoping it helps
• He has already acquired several nick names. His Pops calls him Gus due to him being named after Augustus McCrae, and Josh and I call him Bug and Buggers.
• Big brother is still obsessed with him and adores him SO much!
