Easter is my absolute favorite holiday. Not only is it the most important holiday for all of mankind but I love all the festivities and family time. If it wasn't for Easter and Jesus dying on the cross, we would have no hope. That one single event in history gives us all a chance to spend eternity with Him, and that means EVERYTHING. Thank you, Jesus, for dying for me and every single sin filled human, and for taking our shame and sin upon yourself. We had a super busy weekend celebrating the cross and empty tomb, and spent lots of fun time with family and friends. The weekend before Easter, Mimi's neighborhood had an Easter egg hunt and we had our Easter meal there afterwards. In Arkansas, we never know how the weather is going to be this time of year and of course it was wet, cold, and windy that day. Shaw didn't much like the cold and wind but had a great time at his first egg hunt to participate in. Easter weekend was super busy with another egg hunt, lots of church activities, and lunch at Nanna's. Thankfully it rained some more that weekend but ended up being a beautiful Easter Sunday. The Easter bunny also came to visit our house which was really fun this year!
His first time to hunt eggs. I was inside with Sutton because it was too cold for us but Josh said he had a great time.
He thought he was supposed to put rocks in his bucket at first :)
Church egg hunt and festivities. Coloring an Easter picture.
This little guy thought something was funny!
Eggs, eggs, eggs!
He wasn't too sure what to think of her....
The Easter bunny came to drop a few things off at our house. He knew there were two little boys that needed to get ready for the beach, plus one that was getting ready to potty train!
Sweet babies all dressed for church.
Playing at Nanna's after Easter lunch with family.
By the third egg hunt he wasn't interested AT ALL. He decided to give mommy kisses instead :)
Great grandchildren hunting for eggs.
Unlike the eggs, he was very interested in the huge magnolia tree in front of Nanna's house.
Pops and Sutton
Everyone counting their eggs.
So blessed with such a big loving family!
