ER Visit

Our first one to be exact. As most of you know Arkansas is covered in a thin, not so pretty, blanket of pollen right now and every member of our family feels like crud. I always welcome spring with open arms but not the sickness that comes with it! Little Sutton decided to start getting sick on Sunday and has steadily gotten worse. The poor baby has yellow snot, a terrible sounding cough, and just feels plain terrible. This morning I took his temperature and it was 100.1. I called the pediatrician and the nurse told me with how young he was and with that high of a temp to go ahead and go to the ER at our children's hospital. What?!!! I immediately started crying because well, I wasn't really expecting for them to tell me to take my little, brand new baby to the ER. Due to his age, they immediately put us in a room which was nice! He still had a temp but the Dr. thought the same thing I thought all along, upper respiratory infection. She said with young babies they can get sick SO fast and that it was good we went ahead and brought him. Now, we just have to make sure his temp doesn't get any higher and he doesn't have any respiratory distress. Here are some pictures I had taken earlier this morning of our sweet peas. He is even smiling in some in these...aren't they just sweeter than pie?! :) Hoping our littlest little gets to feeling better soon!
