Catch Up

Well, I accidentally took a 5 month hiatus from blogging. I last shared about Sutton turning 1, he is now 17 months, and boy have things changed since then. We found out the week of his birthday that Hendricks Baby #3 was expected. At the first of June, we found out that baby #3 was a sister!! We have been so excited and trying to prepare of her arrival in November. I am now 26 weeks and have finally stopped violently throwing up every day. Sister has made momma super sick but I am okay with that. I have also been overly exhausted most days, some due to being pregnant and the other due to two overly active toddler boys.

Shaw turned three last week and starts preschool in a month! I can't believe it! I'll hopefully post on his birthday party and all about him at three soon!

Since his birthday, Sutton has learned to walk more gracefully, run, climb, and try to do everything his brother does. He has learned lots of new words and gets his point across pretty well. :)


We've had a great and busy summer! I feel like we have had plans every weekend and didn't spend a whole lot of time at home. We enjoyed a week at the beach (post on that later), took several adventures, and spent lots of time with family and friends! Josh and I were even blessed to get away for a few days by ourselves to celebrate 5 years of marriage. It was our first time to leave the boys and much needed! This upcoming week we have decided to take the boys to the mountains for a few days! I think it's something we all need. There won't be much to do besides swimming, hiking, eating, and relaxing! It will be much needed before another school year starts. This will be Josh's last year in school for his second degree and I will go back to working four days a week until sister arrives!

Acting silly and making the most of our time while at home has been a must!

We had a great Easter!

We spent a couple of days at the splash pad and almost every afternoon playing in the sprinkler and water table in the front yard!

Took a trip to the zoo. It was hot but fun!

Went to the lake with friends to celebrate the Fourth of July

What a fun and adventuring spring and summer we have had so far! Hoping to not take that long of a break again from the blogging world again! I need to hold out at least another year so sister will have the monthly updates that both of the boys had! I am so thankful I have done this blog to keep a record of our kids growing up!
